The Cigars finished up the 2007 season 14 and 8 making it to the semi-finals of the playoffs where they lost a best of 3 series to the eventual league champions the Pirates. Several Cigars had outstanding seasons in 2007, but Lanny Lautenschlager and Sean Turnan were selected the 2007 "Premium All Star Cigars."
The Cigars now turn their attention to the 2008 season. For 2008, The Cigars have a new home field, and are excited to be playing games at Riverwood High School in Sandy Springs. Three new players join the Cigars for 2008 including pitchers Joe Barbao, Holt Carter, and first round draft choice outfielder/infielder Leonard Blair.
The Cigars open up the 2008 season against the Cubs at 4 PM Sunday at Riverwood HS.
