Cigars take down very tough Giants team

The Cigars defeated a very strong NL Giants 10-5. It was only the second loss in over 2+ years for the Giants who at one point had won 41 games in a row. In his first start as a Giant, Stephen Flake held the Giants to just 3 runs over 7 innings. Stephen struck out 10 Giants on his way to the win. Hank Knupp came in to close out the game with a strong 8th and 9th. Cigars pitchers combined for 13 total strikeouts over the Giants. Edwin Marcial and Alfredo Medina each had 3 hits, and Steven Mathews had a big 2 run bases loaded double in the bottom of the 8th to put the game out of reach. The Cigars played great defense all game as well to hold the Giants offense down.
